Clubs and Activities

At Bradford Girls’ Grammar School we believe that participation in those activities taking place beyond the classroom raises self esteem and leads to excellent examination results.

School life is busy and varied and there is a wide range of activities in which the girls can take part – these include Sport, Dance, Design Technology, Debating, Drama and Music – extra curricular activities are held during lunch times and after school.

Girls can aspire, succeed and lead at all  levels whilst thoroughly enjoying all aspects of our varied programme.  There is something for everyone!

Our rich and diverse extra-curricular programme includes: art; dance, debating and public speaking, music and drama. The Duke of Edinburgh awards and World Challenge are also extremely popular.

All girls are encouraged to become involved in a wide range of sporting activities regardless of ability and competitive participation occurs at all levels including school, county and national.

Fundamental to the success of the entire programme is the way in which all pupils respond with an enthusiasm and committment that enables each girl to realise her own unique potential.
