Exam Information

This Summer’s Exam Contingency Days are Thursday 6^th June, Thursday 13^th June & Wednesday 26^th June 2024 all candidates must be available on these days in case they need to be implemented due to a major disruption. Holidays must not be booked until after the final contingency day.

As instructed in the school uniform policy you are required to wear full school uniform for all of your examinations. Leaver’s hoodies, outdoor wear, etc will not be permitted in the exam room and you will be asked to remove anything which is not standard school uniform. There will be spare school uniform in the squash courts for those students wearing the wrong attire to change into before they are allowed to enter the examination room.

GCSE Result Day 2024 – Thursday 22^nd August 2024. Results will be available to collect from 8.30am – 12pm in the Atrium.

Students will need to collect results in person, should this not be possible email lhanse@bggs.com in advance. SLT and members of staff will be available on the day should you need any advice/information regarding your grade.

The Post Result Services available are Access to scripts, Clerical re-checks and review of marking.

These services incur a fee from the exam board and candidates are liable for these charges.

They will need to be paid in full before a service is submitted and before the deadline as exam boards will not accept any late submissions  - 7^th September 2024 (Access to scripts only) &  24^th September 2024 for other services. Exam board fees will be available on Results Day.
