Primary Sports Premium Funding Report

In 2013, the government pledged to provide additional funding to primary schools to improve PE and sport provisions. The funding is provided by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, and Media and Sport, and sees money going directly to primary schools to spend on improving the quality of sport and PE for all their children.

For the 2023/24 academic year, each school received £16,000, plus an additional payment of £10 per pupil. The money can only be spent on sport and PE provisions in schools.

Lady Royd Primary received £19,277 PE and Sports Premium funding for the 2023/24 academic year.

Details of the 2023/24 allocation and spend to date are covered in the following document.
